New Backround

I like to change it up as you probably know. And I couldn't put x-large pictures on my other setup, hence the change. I grabbed this pic (one from our wedding) because it was easy to grab and I wanted to see it bigger. More posts soon. I need to download pictures from my camera. 

Highcliffe

Today we went to the beach for the first time since we moved here. Our home state would be ashamed of us! Well we had such a good time. After it rained for 10 min, it is England after all, the sun came out and we enjoyed the day and Kira!



Surprisingly the water was not that cold! Now don't mistake me it was cold, but not the kind of cold that makes your appendages go numb. It was definitely bearable.

We love having Kira with us so far we've gone to Blenheim palace (pictures coming) and the beach. We are hoping to go to stone henge soon :)

Eights Week

Every year Oxford holds The Eights, which is a rowing race between all of the colleges in the University. Thousands turn out and fill the river banks. Everyone from uni students to families to older alumni. People BBQ and have parties on river boats. I love seeing all the ex-rowers in their striped sports jackets. (Think Mary Poppins, when they jump into the side walk painting and Bert is wearing that White and red striped jacket.) We had fun meandering around and watching the rowers.

P.S. We are getting very excited to go to California in just a few days!

Oh just saw how this looks on the computer sorry for the graininess I'm working out how to blog from my phone.

Wow, long time no bloggity blog. Sorry for the long hiatus! 

All these pictures were taken with my phone, I have been instagramming lately, an app where you upload pictures onto a social network. Kind of like twitter but with pictures. Instead of a little blurb about what you're doing/thinking/etc you upload a picture. So these are all some pics I have instagrammed.

Every monday we have a Bible study, it's my favourite time of the week. 

J&V

J&V just got engaged and asked me to take some pictures of them. I'm not sure how they even knew I like taking pictures, but I don't care I was stoked to be asked.

I love taking pictures and can't wait for my new class to start! Sometimes, I let the business of life stop me from just snapping a few pictures. When I'm taking a class I don't have any choice but to slow down and be purposeful in my photographs.
