We will miss you! The 8th grade goodbye party :(

Just watching them do that made me twinge. Luckily he lands just fine!


Our 8th graders rock. Last year camping, Jon decided to see if he could run up a tree a do a back flip. He nailed it the very first time! Isn't that crazy!


They are SO fun! The party was great, we had so much fun. We definately had such an awesome year with these guys!

What I did today!

So I woke up this morning at 5:30 am (the first thing that lets you know something is wrong)! I didn't feel so good. Yep....the flu caught up with me somehow. It wasn't pretty...but I've had worse. Usually when I get the flu, I get it for like a week. I haven't had any toilet hugging issues for about 4 hours... so I am hopeful that it was one of those 24 hour bugs. I am not sure how I got it, there are several possibilities. I picked up about 30 kids on sunday helping them onto the bounce run any of those little ones could have gotten me sick, one of my friends was sick, or I got sick because sometime that happens. This was the first time I had been sick since Alan and I got married. I am happy to say he passed with flying colors. He is taking care of me wonderfully. He even went out very early in the morning to get me some comfort things because he loves me :) My mama braught me over some flowers... beautiful pink gerber daisies, woowhoo! Hopefully the sickness has passed, I cannot be sick this week! Who knew I had so much to say about being sick!

Some Ventura Goodness...

We went to Ventura on monday, it was nice to get out of lancaster. Even though it was over a hundred degrees in Lacaster it was actually kind of chilly at the beach. We layed out at the beach for a few hours and then we went to the Harbor shops which are always fun, they are tons of quirky little stores as you'll see a few pictures down.

The Ventura Hatter... I wonder who actually ownes hats like these...hmmm

A few seconds after this picture I pulled the hat all the way on and it competly covered my face! Someone has a BIG head!

The wondeful ocean... I hope we get to go to the beach a lot this summer!

There are no words for how I feel about this picture. I was suprised at how much we can pull off the "pirate look"!

Soon we'll have lots of cowboy pictures of Alan, he's in VBS this year as a bad guy....shocker!

Lazy days & Suprises

I randomly entered a photo contest, and then accidently was one of the winners. I entered a photo of Caleb (8 months old) He was chosen as one of America's most beautiful baby's. Lol. But it was a suprising letter to get in the mail today!

Today Alan & I had a wonderful day! We had a lazy day :) We stayed in our around in our pj's until like 3:30, that why there isn't any pictures of us! We also made some yummy chocolate chip cookies!. It was so good to have a day together and just relax. Last week was crazy busy.

Oh so blessed! I love them!

Aren't they so cute! This is my mom and my sister. They came over for mothers day, it was pretty sweet! They are fun to hang out with and a little crazy... don't let those sweet smiles fool you! Hope all of you had a splendid mother's day like me!
